Piece on Hong Kong - #reply-16638755 - as another poster there says, it's 'going to be just another city in China', as it gets 'disintermediated', cut out as the middleman in China-RestofWorld trade ... i know some HKers, they've been calling this inevitable for years, only question is how long it will take to become complete

So you're left with a small quasi-nation-state with, among other facets, a trading tradition and trading aptitude and affinity for trading - what do you think are the chances of a few hundreds deciding to trade the Naz? ... could catch on, and if SEG can serve them better than the competition, they'll be wanting to hold some of its paper as well as make use of its system ..... since SEG has had the US direct access i've thought HK likely to be the first power centre for the company
