Well, engineering school teaches worst-case analysis, and, to me, you need to be a devil's advocate at all times and be leery of any happening. Like, design for the best but expect the worst.
Worst case is something may be fishy.


My worst-case analysis is Intel is screwed. Best case, the heat on them will be a lot higher.

What does your worst-case analysis tell you wrt Intel? What does it tell you when AMD has a 50% stake in a 0.07u, 300mm JV fab, with a combined production capacity greater than 50% of world processor demand? Or, should worst-case (also known as worse-case) analysis only be applied to AMD?
