Maybe AMD plans to outsource their "As Market Demands" Duron chips, so that Fab25 can be converted to Flash, and Fab30 can be devoted to Hammer.

I thought it was already the plan to convert Fab25 to flash and Hammer is too far off to be a factor now.

So why would it be cheaper to outsource Durons when Fab30 isn't yet at full capacity? AMD is announcing that UMC with their builtin profit margin is a lower cost producer than AMD itself.
