"Famous isn't good for a writer. You don't observe well when you're being observed," he said."

Thanks for posting Ken's obit, Peach.

Kesey was a truly unique individual. I met up with him and the Pranksters in the late 60's in Ann Arbor, when they were on their cross-country trek. The experience was, shall I say, mind altering?

One flew East and One flew West.

I was also a Kesey fan. To the degree that in college people often called me R.P. McMurphy.

"I'm up there with Dr. Seuss," he crowed.

Can't say he didn't live a full life. I could be so fortunate.

Peaches,

We lost Champ Hood last week too. He was a mainstay of the Austin music scene for many many years, most recently in TOni PRice's band

Hello dear Peach.

I knew I had this stored some where. For those less fortunate to have done their own tests<GGGG> there is this archived gdlive.com It's best for postperity's sake.

I also have a few of them on cassette. Some really goofy stuff when the band can't hold things together.

But here's a tribute to Captin Trips!
