I don't hold onto positions that long if they go against me--use stop losses and start again when the time is right. I guess you are mixing up trading and investing again. For the record, the downturn was missed by most experts, including investors/analysts/managers and even company CEOs/CFOs. Much has been learned by all over that time but of course you knew it all along.<g>

Since we have a different approach. This will end my posting to you. In the future, ignore everything I post as I surely will ignore your posts.
Someone like you goes through so many posts to dig up past comments.....I don't need to say any more. Your approach to anyone who disagrees is to launch personal attacks, just like you did with David Howe. You continue to provoke people...it is such a waste of time discussing anything with you is my realization even if your viewpoint is correct. I don't have as much free time as you to try and put the other person down.

You rantings are not going to make the market go up nor is my current optimism. If I have made short term call bets, you have no idea of how much of a chance I am taking...it may be totally immaterial in my trading.

Good day to you sir and the best of luck with your investing.
..and Bad Luck with your doom and gloom predictions of how the world is going to come to an end.<g>
