Busy feedin the horses I guess.

here are a coupla of interesting details i picked up.

on Saturday music was blasting from outside loudspeakers in downtown mazar-e-sharif. this was the first music heard publicly in years in town. music is forbidden by the taliban.

the stories about horseback assaults is true and SF guys are riding along with them. one A team request this week was for 10 saddles...i hear they are getting sore riding bareback. every A team inserting now is getting horse and mule training. due to altitude and terrain restrictions, some of the caves are not accessible to helicopters...only by horse or mule.
