Here's a project for you...name the three most geopolitically contentious areas in the world today. Then look at the water situation in each of those areas. Who controls the flow of that water? Who stands the most to lose due to control as it now stands? Where is the most disruptive behaviour? What is the world view supported by those in control of that water versus those who are struggling against that world view?

The Nile (controlled by Egypt)
The River Jordan (controlled by Israel)
