If you are referring to terrorists, of course you cannot just sit down and have a nice discussion and resolve everything. But the terrorists are vastly outnumbered by their countrymen with whom you can connect, and whose opinion you can listen to, and who will listen also to what you have to say. When the process of cooperation and tolerance is done with sincerity by both sides, the results can be remarkable. In general you cannot "reason" with people when they are being strongly reactive. You have to wait until they calm down a bit. Namaste! Jim
