Unless you can prove fraud, then there is no case.

I was not attempting to make a case. I was simply stating my opinion and my opinion does not vary.

I don't think there is anything disgusting about it at all. Plenty of insiders sold well before and after the tops in many of these stocks. I don't see anything to get emotionally worked up about.

I am not sure anyone here got emotionally really worked up. I simply find people who think like that and behave like that are disgusting. It is my belief one should be rewarded for doing a good job of operating the firm they claim to operate. I do not believe they should be rewarded via the transfer of wealth from those that believed these people had good intentions. This is an ethical issue you and I have discussed for years. We clearly are not in agreement;-)

It is time though that you admit that the fundamentals of Amazon did not live up to your real expectations. I surely admitted the stock price went higher and gave you verbal credit for that. There is a time to throw in the towel. Holding on by that last string seems kind of silly.

Bill the Redneck

A small Kentucky Wild Animal Park had
acquired a very rare species of gorilla.
Within a few weeks, the female gorilla became very
"in the mood", and difficult to handle.

Upon examination, the park veterinarian determined the problem.
The gorilla was in heat. To make matters worse, there were no male
gorillas of the species available. While reflecting on their problem,
the park administrators noticed Bill, a part time redneck intern,
responsible for cleaning the animals' cages.

Bill, like most rednecks, had little sense, but possessed ample
ability to satisfy a female of ANY species. So, the park
administrators thought they might have a solution.
Bill was approached with a proposition.
Would he be willing to have sex with the gorilla for $500?

Bill showed some interest, but said he would have to think
the matter over carefully.
The following day, Bill announced that he would accept their offer,
but only under three conditions.
"First," he said, "I don't want to have to kiss her.
Secondly, you must never tell anyone about this."
The park administration quickly agreed to these conditions,
so they asked what was his third condition.
"Well," said Bill, "You gotta give me another
week to come up with the $500."
