Glenn Hinton, an Intel presenter and a "Fellow", told Andreas Stiller from c't magazine that AMD was "eating its future" at the Microprocessor Forum by using elements of .13 micron technology in the Palomino core.

Actually, K7 Thoroughbred gets none at all. The numbers you were quoting were for the non-SOI Thoroughbred, while the SOI version of Thoroughbred is called Barton. If AMD gets 15% from SOI, Barton would be a 3000XP. If they get 25% from SOI, barton will be a 3200XP.
