Yeah our oil companies have never made that good of money off of the mideast oil. all those barrels at a couple of $$ per barrel sure were expensive.

I suspect it will be different this time around. The Saudis are rich now as compared with when they nationalized the oil companies. They will simply 'buy' our expertise for whatever the experts are willing to go over there and develop their properties for. Plus, they have something to lose if they don't play by the 'capitalists' rules now. Now they own many properties and businesses in the USA.

It just bothers me a little that so much wealth gets concentrated in one family in just a few short generations. With even more money, the blackmailing terrorists can bilk them for even more. Sooner or later they must be dealt with.
