It certainly looks that way to me. In Revelation 3:10 Jesus says "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the would, to try them that dwell upon the earth".

In Matthew 24, Jesus was speaking to the disciples possibly about Israel. Because there was no church at that time. Pentecost had not happened yet.

I don't know what all the talk about some "escaping" the tribulation is about either. All Christians who have died in the last 2000 years have already escaped the tribulation.

Have a good one.

After some thought Westi I have decided to append my earlier post.

The bottom line is this IMO. If you believe that the only way to salvation is through the Blood of Jesus Christ, through His work on the Cross, God will provide the answers when needed. Jesus said that even the elect would be deceived if that were possible. In other words, that is not possible. Arguing over every chapter and verse only reminds us of why there are so many denominations. It's pointless, IMO.

For God so loved the world he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Know that and you will be provided the answers at the right time.

Sorry if I offended anyone earlier.
