I am up in some and down in others share price speaking. A quick tally tells me my PWI avg is 7.19 and my AVN avg is 7.65. My data doesn't at this point corroborate either of your positions, so I'll just sit up here on my fence.

--------------- Then just for arguments sake look to the recent past for one of my holdings. AY.UN This one I bought into about 5 months or so ago. You can go to my past postings where I state my purchases through the following months. I first bought at $11.50 then bought much more at $10.50 then much more again at $9.50. Now do the simple math. Am I suffering a Stan suggests. Don't forget to add also the income received over the past months. That is documented fact supported by the postings. The concept is not hard to follow. And it is very easy to test. That any would have a problem understanding it makes no sense. This is one holding over a short period of time in a downward market. And it holds. Now just extend that working to many trusts over a much longer period of time. And it is quite easy to see not only in the good times do these trust make their unitholders good returns but a detailed strategy like mine which can be followed and verified by the long term and real time data, can and does make a good return for the unitholder in and throughout a downturn. Not to mention the fact that these cycle from good times to down times with documented regularity. --------------

-------- For your own case it maybe a good idea to do some what if scenarios with the up and down movements in pricing (as we have experienced ) for the trusts you hold. See if buy hold accumulate on weakness using a real strategy holds--------------- You could even go through and do a complete back test of the real data using the strategy I described. That would be the real confirmation. But to do as Stan has done and completely ignore all I have presented is not looking to all the facts. And looking to all the facts is all I ask. Then each can make up his or her mind. --------------
