I've heard that theory before, but I think it's unlikely that either terrorists could have brought all those down without us finding out, or that the govt could have kept that a secret all this time. There's a lot of traffic out of that airport, which may account by chance for all of those accidents, though it does make you think. About this one, an eyewitness said they saw something coming off the back of the plane before it came down. Might have been an engine explosion, which does happen for mechanical reasons, but I thought those planes could come back and land on a single engine. I'm sure it depends on their altitude at the time, and whether control surfaces or mechanisms were also damaged. Could also have been a bomb going off, but let's not go there until we find out more.
