i decided to trade from my warm and secure bed today. here i am snuggled up in my comforter looking out the window at the pouring rain, and a freaking jumbo jet flies by at very low altitude! outside MY WINOW dammit. i'm not the superstitious type, but (oh hell, yes i am), i may have to drive the 400 miles to get home this thanksgiving. last night,i think the rain caused a transformer to explode a few blocks away. i waited to see if the fire dept would show up or something, but nothing happened, so i'm assuming it was electricity + rain related. still, i couldn't help but think/worry about it being something else. what a weird coincidence. too many bad omens. i'm definitely driving.
