I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that scissors passed through the Xray machine at LAX (packed in my carryon by mistake).

The fact that they don't screen checked luggage is troublesome, although I am aware that a clever person could disguise a bomb.

I keep saying where this is a will there seems to be a way.

Of course we don't know that it's a bomb yet. But 4 out of JFK....unreal.

Good point. If this was an attack you can rest assured the only reason there weren't more is because they were locked down on the runway. Should be very diligent about checking all of these.
