The question is what will Mosis do at lunch here, I have not the foggiest, so I stay on the side line.

I closed my overnight short positions on the initial drop, not far from the low of the day, then re-shorted half-way up its morning rebound, but then I saw the P/C on CBOE at 1.78 in the first half hour! promptly closed the shorts opened today. Thank goodness. Would like to hear everyone's opinion on the effect of the extraodinary high P/C level this morning on the expiration this week.

Jim

Edit: somehow CBOE revised first half hour down to 1.29; I definitely remember it was 1.78 or thereabouts. oh well.

Does it not look like a setup for move higher on the market today if by chance the NY tunnels are opened among other things such as news releases that there is "speculation" that there was some sort of engine failure....along with less and less talk of a terrorist act.

The pop on the Nasdaq after the initial plunge seems to suggest that there is strong demand for tech stocks right now.

Just my guess.
Hard to really make sense of things in this environment.

Hope there were not many casualties on the ground.

My timing sucked as well
I did cash in on C puts COF puts and AMAT puts
Timing good on the last two bad on the first but profits on all three.
Had I held COF it would have turned into a loss.

Repositioned AMAT and COF
Added a few MU puts near the high.
Well underwater on my first set from a few days ago. ng
