I had forgotten that Larry McMurtrey and Kesey were friends. McMurtrey has the biggest used book store in the country down in Archer City, Texas. I've made a couple of trips there and was thinking of making another one again soon. If he's there I'd like to chat him up about his memories of Kesey.

Speaking of kinetic individuals, I've had Carloyn Cassady's memoir "Off the Road" kicking around the house for awhile, this seems like a good time to start reading it....
