At 12 noon .. Equity P/C = 0.78 or so. That's cumulative for the day, I was referring Zeev-style <g> to the latest period and to the improving P/C sentiment pre-lunch. OTOH, the 11-11:30 EST period had an equity P/C of almost 2.0, so the CBOE data may be flaky in timing the reporting of equity puts versus calls.. - Dway

11:00 ET CIENA Corp (CIEN) 19.18 +2.00 (+11.6%): -- Update -- Lehman issues a word of caution following Ciena conference call. Firm does not believe there is anything incrementally positive from today's announcements; notes that CIEN refused to discuss any forward looking guidance. Lehman is skeptical that the operational reduction is just because of natural efficiencies and moves to outsourcing. News out this morning does not sway firm from view that CIEN shares are too expensive.
