This is welcome news because the fault simulation process is one of the most compute intensive tasks there is. A typical fault simulation run takes many weeks for only a moderate size chip.

simucad is by far THE smallest simulator vendor. giving this as an example of ia64 acceptance is similar to pepsi saying "the mom&pop store on the corner of elcamino&mary is starting to sell our cola".

where is modelsim, synopsys, cadence on ia64?
