I'd say if someone is determined, just about anything is possible.

JFK has had problems for years with freight and baggage theft. Apparently, the mafia had people at the airport who watched for valuable shipments into the airport, and goods would be pilfered or hijacked. I have no doubt that if the place is a sieve, it could work both ways, and it'd be possible to get a bomb past security.
