right,i was going to say spx made it's high at 1:45. i think we'll have a covering into the close but don't know from what level.

...the Dow did not make a ne high when the Naz printed that 1844...

Naz is running on momo fumes. CSCO, INTC, MSFT, SUNW, ORCL, are net down modestly today, while the momo's that I'm short in (NTAP, MERQ, BRCD, JNPR, SEBL, EXTR) are on average up sharply today. SOX is up too.

In answer IMO, the Naz stuff that is up, doesn't correlate well with DOW trader mentality.
