I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathies to families of NY accident today. It could not have come at much more an inappropriate time. Much as I am distressed to hear about this, I am little relieved that it was an accident so far and not a terrorist outrage. I hope the victims families will regain courage and strength to overcome this tragedy.

I also hope that New Yorkers, brave as they are will cope with this enormous tragedy with forbearance and certitude that has become hall mark of this great city. I pray that recent misfortunes of this city may become a distant memory soon. My salute to mayor, Friefighters and Police who were on the sopt once again to save the lives of victims in no time. I saw the scenes of the city today with a very heavy heart. I love NY. God bless this city. Amen
