BMW, at least the Z3 has that "cool" factor, which makes the analogy somewhat irrelevant. A better analogy would be between a Korean automobile and the equivalent Japanese or American model. Why p--- away $$$ for the Nissan Pathfinder when you can buy a Kia Sportage?

At least the Kia has a better warranty, which means the customer can save more money in maintenance costs. But I'm skeptical that this will overcome the Korean reputation for unreliable cars.

P.S. - Man, Koreans can't even be relied upon to close World Series games! We just stink. <8-(

RE:"You strike me as the kind of person that would tell his friend who just bought a BMW Z3 that he pi$$ed away $10,000 instead of getting a Toyota MR-2"

Bad analogy.
