If so it's understandable given the sentiment of the Rydex NDX Short- VENTURE 125.5 Million**BULLISH Near All Time High

Are you saying that there is a high level of shorts indicated by Rydex NDX Short...is that a contrarian indicator.
Never really understood this indicator.

Murray, I think that the Rydex series is too "young" to serve as a solid guide, it stayed very bullish through most of August prior to the September decline (and that decline was in full power to at least 1600 or so prior to 9/11). I mentioned this potential problem on Steve thread at the time (in August I believe).
