I suspect that the bottom line is that we don't care if our allies are terrorists, as long as they aren't terrorizing us.

The typhoon was nothing to worry about; it passed south of us. Did a lot of damage, not because it was a big storm, but because it went south of the usual track and hit places that seldom see big storms. I actually like typhoons; they fill the rivers with water and kick up waves for me to play on. We seldom get much damage here; this place is very well sheltered, which is why it was occupied by various navies for so long. There are many worse problems. I appreciate the concern, though....
