It sounded like the synopsys and cadence packages were available, but on reading the Modelsim link, it appears that they plan to support it using HP-UX and Linux next year.

By the way, you were wondering if Itanium had any of the big name simulator packages being ported over. The answer is 'yes'. In fact, all three companies either have, or plan to have, their software built for Itanium.
