Do you think Nazis would have stopped if we had not fought for the peace? What it boils down is that in theory and in an idealistic world living on top of some beautiful mountain facing the ocean with fresh air and birds flying all over, yes, War does not get you peace! However we (or at least most people) do not live in such an environment.-- cooperation + tolerance = peace Yes, I agree. However and again in the current world order, peace does not come that easily. Not all the people are willing to cooperate and tolerate one another. And regretfully it happens that most peeple on this planet do not even know the concept of and tolerance. Different segmenets of human beings on this planet consider themselves belonging to one specific ideology or group that (in their own mind) is superior to others. As long as you hvae that type of thinking, all cooperation and tolerance would remain to be superficial, and artificial at best.-- no I don't mean cooperate with terrorists So what do you suggest to do with them? If you say we can not coopoerate with the terrorist psychopaths, then the only other alternative is to fight them (i.e. war), and therefore you have contradicted your very first point above that "War does not get you peace!" ! -- not every Muslim is a terrorist True. Not every Muslim is a terrorist. However Islam (the religion) does provide a framework for terrorists to justify their cause via killing and destruction, and under that framework they are allowed to refer to themselves as Muslims. Hence giving a bad name to the rest of the people who want to call themselves Muslims and are really "good" people. Perception therefore becomes the reality regretfully for which a few (or a majority whichever the case might be) give the remaining members of the Islamic societies a bad name! >In summary, my answer is pursue peace, not war Very profound statement. However like everything else in life, there has to be struggle, and hard work to achieve the ultimate goal. Peace is of no difference. In order to achive peace we - sometimes - have to struggle and fight for it. I do strongly feel man really has never pursued war, and it has always been about peace. the problem is everyone wants to implement and enforce their own version of peace in thsi world! Namaste! - Addi
