Hello...... No I do not have a mechanical system. I trade high probability patterns on multiple time frames, could be a 1 min chart to a 120 min chart. I trade short term reversal patterns that are longer term trend patterns OR that are short term reversal patterns that are scalps for bigger term entries when the short term resolves itself into the longer term ( See charts attached with head & shoulders top into 5 min bullflag) I seek to as many points a day out of the markets as they give, & the patterns I trade allow me a high degree of success to do that with a certain degree of aggression, I don’t baby the markets & will trade as many times as the markets setup patterns, be it 1 time a day or 20 times a day, I am willing & able to pull the trigger. I do not have a fixed stop, I believe that entries should be based upon a 1 or 5 min time frame, if a 60 min chart is signaling a BUY, I enter in a 1 min chart or max 5 min chart when I see the short term trend setup in the direction of the bigger term trend. If a 5 min chart sets up I enter on 5 min chat. Because I enter mostly on 1 min charts my risk is based on 1 min time frame so I am limited in my losses. I attched charts for you to see what I did today, we had a uptrending market & allows multiple buy entries, it gave a nice buy climax up, put in short term head & shoulders & markets came in for 5 min bullflag & with a tick flush to confirm setup a nice entru…this is all I do… In stocks for myself & my stock chatroom that I provide with Linda Raschke I gave signals on the following stocks………. IBM 12:15pm 113.00 BUY on 5 min chart breakout for 114.50 exit IBM 2:40 pm 113.70 BUY on 5min bullflag for 114.50 scalp IBM 2:40 pm 113.70 BUY on 120 min chart bulflag ( entry on 5 min chart) for 120 target. QQQ 12:42 buys…1 min bullflags……30 cents plus MSFT 12:42 buys 1 min bullflags…..scalp 30 cents + QQQ – SPY 2:40 pm 5 min bulllflag buys…..scalps for retest We had CIEN this am at 11:30 & kicked it out for scratch trade…… But based on what I told you………..this is what I do……….no secrets & no system signals, I look & find my trades based on my own charting & what the markets tell me Net Net at the end of the day I am always happy with my results because I work hard to time my entries right.
