Market has factored in that uncertainty. Nobody in his/her right mind would assume that bin Laden would be "taken out" by Christmans.

It's going to be a drawn out game of hide-and-seek.

I agree that the "fall" of Kabul is more of a political victory than a military one, however, I doubt the markets are going to make that distinction...the futures are up strongly...there will be a bounce tomorow morning...the resilience of the past couple of days will be resolved one way or the other shortly...the market does not "feel" like it is going to topple over easily..
