NewVision,

Sales of Windows XP by computer manufacturers are over 200 percent higher than sales of Windows 98 in the first month of its availability.

That's good news. I've seen straw reports that have been all over the map now re Windows XP sales. I'll vote for this one.

Tony

NewVision - Re: "Pentium 4 sales are going to surprise so many IMHO--"

Intel has dropped some "hints" to that effect - and Osha Joe and Jonathan Joseph seem to be aware of thius as well.

Hope today's AA crash doesn't de-rail whatever recovery may have been underway.

Paul

NewVision, those are surprisingly strong words from Bill G. And from a Microsoft press release too, which means those weren't just passing words said at Comdex, but restated in a press release. This is strong.

This is a pretty good sign.

Side note, I went to the mall on Sunday and could hardly find a parking spot. When I went to the same store approximately 2 weeks after 9/11, it was pretty empty. Night and day. Local shoppers are back in full force.

Regards,
Amy J
