The number one U.S. local telephone company, sees no pick up in the U.S. economy until the latter half of 2002. The analysts, investors, and reporters just do not want to believe this rally is going no where without earnings. Yes, they can point to the better than expected quaterly operating proforma earnings. CFO's will continue taking one time charges every quarter. This recession is just now about to begin.
