I errantly placed my initial inquiry over on the Dream Machine thread, but then remembered y'all hang out over here. Here's the problem: Message 16652858 (IE won't properly "color" those links I've already visited any longer, although links before November 3rd still reflect having been visited) I would be much obliged if someone can give me some ideas. Zardoz, The description of the memory problem with two 64MB modules brings back memories. I initially had one 64MB and added a second long before my latest upgrade to the 256MB modules. The first "new" 64MB was never recognized by the machine with the original 64MB in place. I was working with the guy who assembled my box, and he had another module that did work with the "new" one, so we just swapped my original 64MB for one that worked with my new one. I doubt we ever tried a slot 0/slot 2 configuration. I have not tried that with two 256MB modules either, but I think I will. The manual says any slots can be used. The bh6.pdf manual file is a nice find, and reinforces my belief that 768MB is the real limit for the board. The hard copy manual I have simply got released without updating the table for 256MB modules. I'll be looking into the version number on my board and possibly updating the BIOS. Dan
