If nasty jokes are inappropriate for the Gipper than they are inappropriate for Bill and Hillary. There is no reason to make one president sacrosanct, unless of course you have personal feelings for him. You need to remember that some of US remember Reagan lied under oath (or simply couldn't remember what he was doing as President) and that he had the dirtiest administration in memory. And please- don't tell me his illness makes him "above" being a target. Janet Reno took tons of flak and really nasty jokes even though she lives with an illness. You'd like your president to be joke free, while the presidents of the other party take all the crappola. Not Gonna Happen.

You and your friends are more inappropriate than anyone I've ever read. Whether you can deal with that or not, it is the truth. Not that there is anything particularly wrong with being inappropriate, but to complain about it in others seems highly hypocritical. Of course you can be highly hypocritical if you want to be. There's probably nothing intrinsically wrong with being hypocritical.
