Yes. Although the NA spokesman in DC predicted the Taliban would collapse like a house of cards if Mozzera (sp?) fell. And strategically it makes a good deal of sense for the Taliban to retreat into the area where the core of their popular support and fellow tribesman are located if the are concerned with saving their own necks at this point. Khandahar is in the south where the Pashtun tribe is in the overwhelming majority. As bad as the Taliban are, tribalism still seems to flourish in Afghanistan....
