AD,
Ad,
I would respectively suggest you take cary's advice about shorting at 40 at least until this 1850 naz is pierced or not. Even with your bearish perspective, you certainly should accept the possibility of another leg up before the fall if there is to be one. And since you are so short term what disadvantage does waiting put you at. Worse case is that you short at 38 if the market stalls out or at 45 after a move to 2k. If you were bullish i would give you the same advice about waiting for the direction to be established. Mike

AD, OT *** special trading program

I'm still unsophisticated, too. I tried the CyberTrader simulator yesterday. It allows you to enter conditional buy or sell orders easily. The conditions can even be % changes. But to use that brokerage at the lowest fee I'd have to trade up a storm. The next best thing is Medved QT where you can set up all conditions for a trade with any online broker while watching the RT chart.
