Hi David,
First, I'm glad you took my ribbing in the nature it was intended - good humor.

You stated: The Bear hasn't really started yet.

Here's where you really do look like a "dope" for making a statement like this. After the big bear market we just witnessed, where a major broad market index dropped over 70%, you act like there wasn't a bear market. You are either fooling yourself or just not very in tuned to what's happening. Sure, we could be faced with MORE of the bear market we just witnessed, but to dismiss what has happened in the market is just plain ludicrous.

The recent action after the Sept washout does look like a bear market rally but to say that the bear market hasn't started... truly makes you look like a dope. You can point to 20 year bear markets of the past but that still doesn't justify your statement. You should have left well enough alone and dropped the first line from your paragraph.

Also, I don't see how bubble mania has restarted. You seem to think that a 100% move up in a stock that has dropped 95% is an attempt to reinflate the bubble. I would offer that you need to get a clue. The market will always have a favorite stock or sector, where the valuations will out of tough with reality. This has almost always been the case. CNXT is certainly not one of the "favorites" in this market, regardless of their large percentage move in a short period of time. I do believe you have lost you perspective.

As for CNXT being a basket case, I will agree to disagree. Tough times, sure. Basket case...I guess will have to let the future settle this one.

See you later....

mh

David everyone is right at some point. The fact is that if you are being honest with yourself you'll know you weren't any more right than most of the posters on this thread. In fact, you always had the details wrong.

Further, I haven't forgotten you pulled out of the market in aug 1998, which I assume was prompted by prechter's predictions. Your reliance on Elliot wave analysis is foolish.

Since Aug 1998 you have been expecting the market to go lower; the fact is, even with this correction, we haven't retested those lows - yet. The only conclusion one can reach then is you are still wrong.
