14:49 ET Corning Inc (GLW) 7.90 +0.20 (+2.6%): During their UBS Warburg Global Telecom Conference presentation, GLW indicated that carrier utilization rate was about 70%, which was lower than expected. Continues to look for demand to stabilize slightly in Q3 and get modestly better in Q4. 13:55 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 19.55 +0.29 (+1.5%): -- Update -- Equities slip from highs of the day, with Cisco leading the slide. Traders citing Dow Jones report that CEO sees a plateau in orders and 2-8 quarters of slow growth. Comments apparently coming out of the Cisco Shareholder Meeting.
