Taliban Flees Kabul, Takes Former Baylor Students Along Tuesday November 13 09:43 AM EST < I'm afraid they haven't been released yet.... -josh > Taliban military forces have deserted the Afghan capital of Kabul, after a series of stunning military victories by opposition forces over the past four days. Opposition fighters are roaming the city, looking for Taliban stragglers. A resident contacted by phone in Kandahar says it appears the Taliban are abandoning that city, too. Some believe the Taliban may be fleeing to the southern mountains to mount a guerrilla war.
