Perhaps people have awakened from their slumber and realized they are ultimately responsible for the own safety and security. You imply they are arming to resist invaders and offer what evidence???????

Our next program will be the right to carry a "parachute" on board airliners. Not for everyone (like firearms) but quite reasonable for the more independent minded who do not buy the spiel on safety.

It sounds like you are against gun ownership E.T. Any particular reason? Your sarcastic post leads me to believe you are resentful about our 2nd Amendment right to self defense.
