It sounds like the i845 with DDR memory is a very good performer, even outperforming the SiS chipset with DDR333.

That is impressive. The SiS chipset is a very good performer.

That's great news - THANKS !!

You might add that the Northwood - 0.13 micron/512K L2 cache - will be introduced not long after the i845DDR chip set - for another added BOOST in performance - and a reduction in COST (to Intel !).
