When I was much younger, I smoked the strongest hash I've ever had in Kabul. I was "zonked" for several hours. That and vendors selling carrot juice on the streets, plus a quick visit to the Kabul library are my main memories of being there. I was just passing through Afghanistan, on my way from Thailand to England. I did the Delhi to England portion on a bus. It was a once in a lifetime trip, that's for sure. I wouldn't like to try it again.
