Well, I couldn't resist taking some profits on AMD calls and buying some Intel puts. The Itanium/CPQ bug is pretty low on the radar screen, but every day that goes by without a shipment resumption increases the danger.

And I don't think Intel will break 30 and its 200 day m.a. on only the second attempt and modest volume.

Maui,

It is interesting to see see all these formerly high end architectures crumbling. It could be argued whether it is because of the thread of Itanium, or because of the inexpensive standard x86 multiprocessor servers taking away all the volume in the low to mid-range, leaving these RISC architectures with very thin volume on the high end, which eventually made them un-economical.
