<< How can there be a peaceful resolution to Kashmir when Pakistan is still sponsoring terrorism in India? >>

Gen. Pervez Musharraf has been the ruler over a very unstable and violent Pakistan. Now, with the help from the US, he has been able to take power away from some of the extreme elements of his government.

Does Pakistan still have terrorist groups operating inside it's country? Does Pakistan still have extremists working within the government and the military? Yes to both questions, but as Musharraf consolidates and strengthens his power, he will have more freedom in working out a peace agreement with India. Musharraf seems to be a reasonable man.

The free world has a great opportunity, and mandate, to make this a safer world. They must attack ALL terrorist cells, whether in Pakistan, or Lebanon, or Syria, or Iraq, or Saudi Arabia, etc. It's not going to be easy, but it must be done.

Pakistan has been allowed to terrorize India because the U.S. needed them to defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan.

"allowed"?
