<< If they stop the war against terror before they have tracked down the majority of major terror groups it is only a matter of time before the terrorist enemies of India make their way to the U.S. >>

I agree. It would be a huge mistake not to follow through. It would also be a very bad signal to the rest of the world.

<< He says he wants peace with India but in the same breath issues threats to them. You judge a man by his actions not his words. >>

Now that there are less extremists in power in Pakistan, let's see what Musharraf does next. He has got to realize that America would almost always side with India over Pakistan. During this "world" war against terrorism, if Pakistan doesn't ease up about Kashmir, Pakistan will stand alone.

External support to Kashmiri guerrillas must end: UK

NEW DELHI: Britain said on Tuesday that external support to guerrillas in held Kashmir must cease and added that the fight against terrorism would not end in Afghanistan.

British Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon, weighing in on the explosive row over Kashmir after a day of talks with Indian leaders, said terrorism would not be tolerated anywhere. "You have suffered, so have we.

That fight won't end in Afghanistan. We are against terrorism everywhere," he said after talks with Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes.

"We have long called for an end to external support for terrorism in Kashmir and we condemn all acts of violence there," Hoon told a news conference. Hoon said Britain would put pressure on countries that fostered terrorism.

"I unreservedly condemn terrorism and I unreservedly condemn those who would seek to foster terrorism, not only in their own country but in other countries as well and I assure you that we will use all of our influence to ensure that terrorism cannot continue on the basis that it has in the past," Hoon said. "What has been achieved in Afghanistan will send a very clear message around the world that none of us will tolerate terrorism in the future," he said.
