Several of us don't think North was a hero. All of us believe Clinton is a scumbag. And we're right on both counts....

Actually, I am sympathetic to that argument. I do think that Clinton lied to protect himself and at least, arguably, North lied for the good of the country. But, I have to admit I am not entirely certain of North's intentions.

At any rate I do have sympathy for him because he was doing what he was told to do and protecting the higher ups and I do think in his own mind he was acting in the best interests of the country.
