Right out of the chute? Not a chance. Best case is that 2-way SMP will follow the single-processor version by six months.

Like I said, having a desktop only Hammer ready in late 2002 means one of two things:

- The chipset won't support 2P in time.
- The processor has bugs with cache coherency that AMD doesn't plan on fixing in the first rev.

Personally, either one sounds plausible, and either way, you won't be seeing 2-way systems until 2003.
