Will this pleasant and surprising development be worth at least 10% immediate upmove in S&P and Nasdaq, and 20% in 2 months? IMO, the 9,650 Dow resistance is taken out today with only a short intraday pause, and it is now onward and upward to 10,500.

This may yet the stimulus for decent consumer spending all over the world, not just in the US, which may halt economic contraction in the US. One way and easiest way to restore consumers confidence is when they see their mutual funds and retirement accounts showing nice positive numbers. What a change from the last many months and quarters.

Every body else feeling upbeat and positive just from the events taking place in Afghanistan? The market and the economy will do the same. It is also boosted by the US dollar. Lots of confidence and faith in the US now, as shown by the U$ strength.
