I thought it had something to do with about 13,000 casualties of terror on U.S. soil and that we are trying to stop it from happening again.

If we're talking about the war between the Northern Alliance and the Taleban, this is not true at all: the Northern Alliance couldn't care less about dead Americans.

Do you remember that the NA staged a major coordinated attack on Kabul only hours after the 9/11 attacks? Unless you believe in extreme coincidences, there is only one conclusion you can reach: they knew what was going to happen and when. They did not tell us, though they certainly have CIA contacts. Why should they, knowing that the attack would certainly lead us put them into power?

We should remember that the NA is not in this for our benefit.

Yes of course, you are right.

You mentioned earlier today that you had some experience with hashish in Afghanistan. I am going to guess that you are old enough to remember some of the Anti-establishment struggles of thirty years ago. If so you can probably relate to some of my memories.

I remember in 1969 or seventy hearing about a kid who committed suicide. When I asked what could have brought him to this very sad circumstance, the only answer I could get from people who knew him was that he did it because his dad told him to cut his hair.

OK, I figure it was true that his dad didn't like the look of the day and that they argued about it. I have a feeling there were also some major issues that the boy was struggling with. I don't think I will ever tell another person to get a hair cut. You may think a hair cut says it all.

There is no doubt that the WTC bombings are the single catalyst for our focus on war with terrorists. If you think that says it all, that's ok with me.

Have Peace
