hi uf,

which is why I find analysts' opinions, bullish or bearish, to be useless.

well, i'm not so much interested in opinions as in information. naturally, each Opinionated Party will use information according to bias, but i am happy to back out the info for my own viewing pleasure. also, within the realm of Opinionated Parties, i have yet to see any meaningful rebuttal to the reasonable bearish arguments on equities posted here and elsewhere.

a lot of it comes down to: Do The Math. that's why John's posts are interesting IMO. also, i get the feeling bulls never really think about expected return in the historical sense (but perhaps in the hysterical sense). just my two cents, or nuisance as the case may be.
